It didn't make any lightbulbs go on, I'm afraid. Your mention that
this is a Thinkpad X20 led me (by way of Google, naturally) to find a
number if installation reports that seem to say that this hardware
should work - closest I saw to trouble were some suggestions about
where to find the necessary patches for a 2.2.something-teen kernel.
So I dunno. Those PCI addresses still look unlike anything I've seen,
but I've never worked with a Thinkpad, and I understand they have a few
quirks - like any laptop would. I take it the ethernet works under
Windows? Have you tried any other Linux distros and gotten it to go?
