Hi Erik,
Thanks for the reply.
I've Googled a bit on this and it seems to be a known (but not fixable...?)
problem with WinXP Pro + some HDDs + some BIOS settings. I can't get to the
bottom of it, but the drive is working fine in Ubuntu and XP Pro (no errors
in either), so it may just be an interpretation issue in PartitionMagic or
the BIOS.
I'll try your suggestion and see what happens. I think I'll do a big backup
first.... 8-)
