Install problems on PowerPC

Once you get your system installed and running, send the output from "lspci"
and "lspci -n". If it works with another distribution, it should be very
easy forus to fix it, given that information.

This sounds like a known bug, with a possible fix ready for testing:

If you're adventurous and/or familiar with Debian kernel packaging, please
give it a try.
