Hotplug problem...

Hi everyone.

Just came back from holidays, installed the latest nightly build on my
PC, all went well.

Upon reboot, the system hangs while executing hotplug, had to boot from
CD, moved /etc/hotplug/pci* to somewhere else. Next time, rebooting went
fine. Restored the removed files and executed /etc/hotplug/pci.rc
manually. But then, I guess, this shouldn't be the normal behaviour,
since both networking and sound were gone. 

Any hints on this?

The machine is a AMD Duron 1600, 256 MB, VIA Chipset.
