Compliments for update

Hi,

Being a mandrake/suse user for some years I installes ubuntu yesterday on my workstation. First tried it on my test box.

After install which went without hitch I decided to do a full update.

Midnight last night synaptic started the downloads of 219 packages. Estimated time then was 15hrs.
Finished this morning at 11:00 = 11 hrs.
All this on a dialup connection from South Africa.

It was hartwarming to see the steady thick stripe on gkrellm as the data comes in. No breaks only little upward spikes.

Well I do not know who should get my compliments for such good service but THANKS.

I will inform my linux friends about this.
