Hey! I think I saw those errors as well with the new kernel image I
tried. I don't see the one you mentioned in synaptic (w/universe)
though. The one that gave me those errors is:

"kernel-image-2.6.7-1-686-smp"

Maybe I'm not looking at the latest packages. Going straight by the
numbers, the kernel I mentioned is the newest one I see in synaptic.

As not to make this just a "me too" kinda message, if you file a bug
and Matt is interested in my dmesg info as well, send a reply with the
bug number so I can add my info.

This may also be related to the issue I mentioned in the other thread
about compiling custom kernels. (FYI if you're following both
threads).
