Warty-amd64 stops just before starting

Rob, I wonder if you might have the same symptoms I have had. Check in
archives for "Super-slow response, not quite dead" in the subject
line. Basically, my Intel P4 machine was taking 25 minutes to get to a
desktop with menu and all. This problem happen(s) for me with Daily
20040927 (or close) and Sounder #9 but not with the Preview CD
version. I'll be updating in that thread tonight.
