cpufreq not working in Hoary

Hello,

I realized I was unclear before.  I actually don't have any reason to
think that cpufreqd is the problem.

And let me state I am using  CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor 2.9.2 
(don't know what version I was using before with Warty).

And the error I get is simply "Unknown" for the frequency display.
