If you have installed warty then the cronjob for this should exist:

Navigate to /etc/cron.daily and there you'll find a script called
'slocate'...

this script contains amongst (other things) the 'updatedb' command

Now 'cat' the contents of /etc/crontab and you should see an entry that
runs the scripts in /etc/cron.daily at 06:25 everyday

If that is not the case then you should make sure that the cron daemon
is running:

	ps aux | grep cron

if not then post to the list again for a solution, allright?
