Backup program?

Question: What would you recommend as a good backup program? I'm
relatively new to Linux and have searched around but not found a nice
backup program similar to those found on Windows, that allows, via a
graphical interface, the user to select which folders to back up and
then set up aschedule for them. I know it's possible to write a script
that does that using tar, but is there anything a little more user
friendly? I'm not a programmer, just a lowly user :-)

I saw a reference to partimage and that looks quite good. But I'm
looking for something that does incremental backups and that would
then allow me to restore individual files from those backups.--As
opposed to having to  back up my whole data drive every day (which
would take a long time!).
