totem movie player, plays nothing?

I tend to use MPlayer too but it's DVD menu support sucks.

I can't say I've experienced codec issues when using Totem; is it any
particular codec that manifests a problem? I'm using the 'all' bundle
and a self-compiled MPlayer.
