Printing from warty to a win2k domain printer?

I can't see an easy solution to that unfortunately, gnome-cups-manager can
do network searching, but the ubuntu version (at least in hoary) seems to
be built without libsmb support, so it doesn't do it.
This probably ought to be fixed, easy printer setup is a good goal. Also I
notice that nautilus doesn't show printers when it is browsing the
network. It should and should provide a hook to the gnome cups stuff to
add printers *really* easily.
Sorry that's not really a solution, but it might be worth filing a bug
about not having libsmb support in gnome-cups-manager, it wouldn't take
long to fix (it might also not be suitable for warty now that it is
released).
Check the samba documentation at samba.org - I believe you can use its
tools (smbclient, nmblookup) to find a list of machines on the network
and then list their shares/printers. Or perhaps someone on this list knows
them.
