That's a very nice and handy site. But... What a total arse it is to get
Java running. I'm no Linux newbie, I've been a Linux user since Mandrake 7,
yet even I have java problems. There really is no need for this. Last
weekend I installed Firefox on a friends XP box, after cleaning it of
browser hijackers and other mal-wear. His favourite chat room uses a Java
interface, so when he hit it up popped the, 'jigsaw' plug-in missing thing;
something I expect many Ubuntu users are familiar with. But what a dream to
fix! Click it, java downloaded and installed by itself and was up and
running moments later. THAT'S what it should be like.

If 'normal' users are going to ever use a Linux desktop, it HAS to be that
easy of Linux will forever be, 'a hackers thing'. <rant/>
