Digital Camera oddity

Hi all

I've installed GTKam, and while my camera (Trust 350FS) is on the list
of supported cameras, GTKam just tells me it can't initialise the
camera.

It's no biggie, an "SDA" icon appears automagically on the desktop the
moment I plug it in and I can just drag my photos to where I want them.
I was just wondering if anyone knew a workaround for GTKam.
