iMac G5?

No, I did not.  But I would have if I had bothered to read what was 
right in front of me!!!  :-/

Still, I have tried that and it still fails over to OF, but now it 
fails faster!

I also tried adding 'video-ofonly' per the other suggestion on the 
yaboot screen to no effect.

Anything else I'm missing?
