Hmm. It doesn't sound like the quick fixes I know about will
specifically address those issues. I'm starting to think there's a
weird bug in FF somewhere, because I've seen the issues you mention on
other lists and forums as well. On my 2.8Ghz/1G RAM system,
right-clicking, switching tabs, everying is so fast I'd have to
measure it in milliseconds.
For the record, here's the page I was going to refer you to. I think
the only tweaks I'm using right now are the IPv6 disabling and enable
pipelining. These tweaks are pretty easy to play with and revert back
if they're not helping anything.
