GIMP 2.0.2 EXIF writer bug

Hi all,

First many thanks to the Canonical team for putting this nice distro 
together! And I Just got my "official" CDs today, brilliant stuff.

Now the complaint:
There's a known bug in the EXIF writer of GIMP versions before 2.0.5: 
sometimes it loses the EXIF data when saving a new JPEG file (for example, 
when you use a plugin that creates a new image).

It's not difficult to recompile it (which I did) or use the updated package 
from Hoary (which is presumibly possible), but I just thought that the 
stable branch should have this fixed...
