Firefox flash not working right?

I did it via Firefox.  When loading a Flash page it said there were
uninstalled plugins with an option to install it.  It opens up a very
short druid/wizard of sorts that tells me that Macromedia Flash is the
missing plugin on the page and has an option to download it and install
it for me.  I let it do it's magic, restart Firefox and I was good to
go.  I'm 99% sure it does get the necessary binary from Macromedia.
I'll send you a few screenshots I took of the process off-list as to not
fill everyone's inboxes.
