UFS is not unified as it should be (Apples UFS supports ResourceForks, other
implementation don't) ;-) But apart from that, the filesystem on the
partition where your Home for MacOSX resides must be HFS+ or AppleUFS, as
these are the only modern filesystems which support resource-forks.

There are indeed many files they've in common and so you'll not be able to
use your OSX home within Linux and vice-versa:

- bash-prefs (profile, bash-rc)
- SSH-Config
- Firefox (if you are using it on OSX)
- ...

The hardest problem will be incorrect paths wirhin the prefs.
