Evolution 2.2 (Hoary) reset?

the account data is stored in a gconf key in ~/.gconf/apps/evolution
you could wipe out that subdir, but i would rather start evo in offline
mode, you will then be able to remove the exchange account in a sane way
in evolution....

to start evo in offline mode, open gconf-editor (from
Applications->System Tools, go to 
/apps/evolution/shell and check the "start offline" option
