recovering mbr or reinstalling mbr

I did some dual boot taggling yesterday, and used MBRUTIL.EXE (the dos 
version) to save/restore MBR's.

It did it's work, but I would be careful. The program asks no 
confirmations.

Also, in lack of a Ubuntu Live-CD, the System Rescue CD-ROM is well 
worth more than a look:
