OOo files consists of a directory with some xml files in it all
compressed with zip ... one have to uncompress it to search for
text strings

If you refer to the following crontab line:

| 17 *    * * *   root    run-parts --report /etc/cron.hourly

yes I have it too, but this does not mean that cron fires cron.hourly
every 17min but every full houre + 17min (00.17, 01.17, 02.17, ...)
