LUFS on Hoary

Hi all,
I'm new to debian/ubuntu. And I'm loving every minute of it.
How do I get LUFS (particularily ftpfs) support on hoary.
I've done
# apt-get install lufs-utils.

but when I do a mount I get this error.


mount failed: No such device you don't have kernel lufs support (check 
whether the lufs module is available/loaded)


How do I get the lufs kernel module?

I've had a look round the wiki and google but can't find the answer
any ideas anyone?
