Thanks, Tim, for the HowTo.



I followed the instructions for suspend-to-RAM, and while my laptop
suspends, unfortunately it doesn't resume. X won't load. The screen
comes back on, but it still shows the suspend process (in text screen).
No keyboard activity brings on resume. The only option is to forcibly
power off.



Any clues? Any log info that I can provide that might help in tracking
down the problem?



I'm using a Compaq Presario x1000 (equivalent to HP zt3000 and nc7000).




Running Warty with kernel 2.8.3.1
