True about the details...it's not really for the faint of heart. I
assume the reader knows most everything that I know (which ain't hard),
but is perhaps just a little less adventurous.
And not to bust your bubble, but the 6100 is a NuBus (as opposed to
PCI) mac. The kernel that ships with Ubuntu won't work. If you get
adventurous, here's a link to investigate:
