Nvidia-glx Drivers Problem

thats funny, your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 says nv is used as the driver,
but the log says nvidia else...are you sure these files belong
together ?

btw, did you regard the second line in the howto ?:
sudo nvidia-glx-config enable
