Ok, I mentioned previously that KDE simply has MUCH better support for
intricate power state settings (override to "performance mode" when plugged
in, switch to "userspace" when on battery, cut down to 87% throttling when
low battery, and hibernate when it's about to die, all configurable from a
nice GUI).  When is GNOME gonna get this stuff?  It's sorely needed.
