I downloaded X-Plane 8.00 beta for Linux.
I followed the install instructions exactly.
But when I try to run it, all I get is:
david at n1zhe:~/downloads/X-System-800b15 $ ./X-Plane-800b15-athlon-xp
GL_INVALID_ENUM
X-System Error:
Error-check OGL error!
load
1280
Sorry.
Aborted
david at n1zhe:~/downloads/X-System-800b15 $
This happens whether I try to run it under sudo or as a normal user
(as the above example).
I do have my Nvidia-glx setup so it works perfectly with other
accelerated games, etc.
These are the modules that are loaded in my /etc/X11/XF86Config-4:
Section "Module"
Load "bitmap"
Load "dbe"
Load "ddc"
Load "extmod"
Load "freetype"
Load "glx"
Load "int10"
Load "record"
Load "speedo"
Load "type1"
Load "v4l"
Load "vbe"
Load "xtt"
EndSection
Anybody got a solution?
David
