Installing Ubuntu with the Greek Language

Hi,

For the installation of the Warty release to my laptop Compaq Presario 
705EA, I have chosen the Greek Language.
Everything goes fine up to the "Ubuntu base system configuration".
During this the Greek letters disappeared from the screen while the 
English letters and numbers were there.
Comparing with the English installation I made the correct choices (I 
hope!) without having help from the screen.
At the end of the installation the system reboots and the opening screen 
of Ubuntu is in perfect Greek.
It accepts my login name but not the password.
Is there anybody facing these problems?
