how unstable is hoary?

According to one thread on the forums (I think by Daniel S.) composite 
isn't going to be really stable until the modular x.org is released, 
which is going to be in March or April - not soon enough for Hoary. So 
when Hoary goes live and we install it on our machines, wait a few days 
and then go up to Grumpy, we might get it ;)
