Broken CUPS

Hiya,

Im currently running warty, and i know its still heavy under
development, but i noticed that cups is broken on my system. If i try
to manage printers it freezes for hours. If i try to manage cups as
root i get an error saying "process terminated with one child."

I've tried re-installing cups which didnt work either.
The printer im trying to work with is a samsung ML1510, but at the
momment its paused and I am unable to unpause it, so i cant even print
now.

Any ideas?

Or do i need to go back to warty? If so how can i downgrade from
hoary??, or would i need a fresh install??
