Automounting FAT partition

I have added my FAT data partition(shared with multiple distros and
Win2k install) to the fstab so it automounts on booting. That works
without a hitch. However if I logout the user and log back in the
mount is lost ie unmounted but not remounted. I run multiple distros
and have never come across this particular problem.

Is there something else I need to do in Ubuntu?
