request for technical help: internet connection sharing

Greetings,

I'm running Ubuntu as OS of choice. I have a 256k broadband line and
several computers. At the moment I have to boot into Mandrake to get the
connection shared. (mandrake has a "set up internet connection sharing
GUI" - very easy - I learnt nothing from using it.)
How I do I go about this with Ubuntu?
Any help or pointers to appropriate guides would be most appreciated.
