install grub to floppy during install

I registered today and I was ready to post a same topic. I am installing
the latest UBUNTU version (4.10 i386) and during the installation of
GRUB I specify it to be installed to /dev/fd0 but it displays an error
message.

Is it possible to install GRUB (or LILO) in a floppy during the
installation of UBUNTU?
