Can't play audio CDs

On most modern machines, the little analogue audio cable that runs from
the CD drive to the sound card doesn't exist. This means you have to
play the CD digitally, which boils down to "playing CDs works the same
way as ripping CDs". The CD player in GNOME 2.10 should handle this
better than the current one.
