I don't really understand some of the reviews that only give Ubuntu an
average or slightly better than average rating. I've even seen people
in forums talk really negatively about Ubuntu and the only conclusion
I've come up with is that those people must have really strong
personal opinions for THEIR favorite distro, and there's some pride
kicking in. (Not that there isn't any pride behind the positive
comments I've made in some forums). I haven't been this biased from
the start either - I've been a Slackware cult member for many years
and used to recommend SuSE to Linux newbies. Ubuntu has definitely
proven itself to me, in power and in ease of use. At this point I
can't think of any reasons to use anything else! :-)
