Swapped CD-rom drive won't read data.

Yes, the fix suggested there, setting 'using_dma' to 0 in 
/proc/ide/hdc/settings works fine. Thanks.

But I'm afraid I don't know how to make this 'sticky', so the fix needs to 
be done every time I start
the computer.  Where can I set the configuration of this value so that it 
is automatic?
