It would be a pain in the butt because in addition to the player, Totem
provides a thumbnailer and audio/video properties page. Even though it's
horribly icky, you could have two menu items for the two players, but
you can't so easily switch the thumbnailer and properties page.
Unless upstream provided a method of doing it, I don't think it can be
done (sanely) in Ubuntu. And to be honest, I don't think it's something
we should encourage - it'll just be confusing.
