Hi Chuck

I left thing on my PC like the were over the christmas saison. But if I
do a "apt-get update", everything works fine. But if I do a "apt-setup"
command to do a apt-configoration, and inside the newly opened window, I
can select either "http", "cd-rom" or "ftp". And when I move the cursor
to "ftp" and hit "enter", nothing happens on the consol. The cursor in
the root-consol blinks on the far left side, without the
root at NB01:/where ever/. And there it stays until I shutdown the consol.
If I try to install a program like "Digicam" or "mc", I get the message,
that it could not find this paket. So if I want to install a paket,
which is not normal under Ubuntu, I do have to put in a "ftp" location.
Or am I on the complitly wrong track?

Heinz
