hoary install issues

I also am having problems updating to hoary on a ppc
machine.

This is what I have done:

/etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hoary main
restricted
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hoary main
restricted

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hoary universe
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hoary
universe

deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hoary-security
main restricted
deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
hoary-security main restricted

Use the following command:
sudo sed -e 's/warty/hoary/' -i /etc/apt/sources.list
&& sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade

Everything installs fine

and then I remove the xfree86 common files
and when I reboot, it's looking for the xserver
