well, after searching about udev, i tried some custom udev rules, and all 
thay worked, but is gnome that is not working...

these are all rules for scsi:
# put removable IDE/SCSI devices into group 'plugdev' instead of 'disk'
BUS="scsi", KERNEL="sd[a-z]*", PROGRAM="/etc/udev/removable.sh %k", 
RESULT="1", NAME="%k", MODE="0660", GROUP="plugdev"
BUS="ide", KERNEL="hd[a-z]*", PROGRAM="/etc/udev/removable.sh %k", 
RESULT="1", NAME="%k", MODE="0660", GROUP="plugdev"

with 2.6.6 none of them must match because removable.sh doesn't find 
"removable" file in sys, but the node is made with group "disk", and 
gnome-volume-manager makes appear the sda1 icon....

now the thing is how to configure gnome-volume-manager
