Login Problem

Sometimes when I log into Ubuntu, I get an error stating that the
.ICauthority file is locked and that X it couldn't continue my
session.  After I rename the file I can get in ok.   I have noticed
that when I get an error in k3b this will occur.  K3b gives a
dcopserver error ... something like that.  Sorry for the lack of
details, I am at at work and not infornt of the computer having the
issue.
