Desktop Icons broken

Check for this:

Go to Applications >> System Tools >> Configuration Editor

When gconf appears, go to: apps >> nautilus >> desktop

Look on the right side of gconf's two panes. Is volumes_visible
checked? If not, check it and exit gconf.

It should work now.
