Excellent! Thanks enrike! That definitely gives me a good idea of what
I have to look for. :o)
Mine should be a *little* easier. I've always kept the bulk of my data
on a separate samba-shared Linux box, so I should just need one HFS+
partition and the rest blank for Ubuntu to do what it wants. One of
the things I wasn't sure about was the whole bootstrap thing. I was
pretty sure that playing around on my iMac, I saw all those little
"utility" partitions made by OSX - and there was one up front to
handle the boot stuff.
Since yaboot is only briefly mentioned in the docs online, I'm
assuming that it pretty much "just works".
Here goes nothing. Can't say I've ever reformatted a laptop within 24
hours of purchasing it. :o)
