For plug-ins, I go there: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux.html

The link is in Mozilla, when you entern "about:plugins" in the address
bar.

It says to run the installer script, but I don't even do that.
I just uncompress the file in my /home folder, and copy the two plug-in
files into ~/.mozilla/plugins and that's it.
