Install Windows (dual-boot) after a default Ubuntu install -Possible?

It seems that the solution is more complicated than the original problem

There are fewer headaches if you just accept the loss of your ubuntu's 
current setup.:
2.  delete ubuntu  .
3.. partition the hard drive  to a suitable size just for Windows
4. Install Windows
5.. Install ubuntu using its partitioner to create a swap partition and 
a / partition

If you have a problem-free way of saving and reinstalling your current 
ubuntu so that it can be reinstalled trouble-free
 in step 5, then make that step 1..  This is NOT as simple a process as 
it sounds..
