Can't unmount USB volume

Same problem. The solution for me was:
sudo apt-get remove --purge fam

Fam is buggy.
Warty is a very good distribution, but the inclusion of fam *by
default* is a mistery for me.
I kill fam in every computer that i install with Ubuntu and i feel
always better. ;)
Gnome is for Desktop and a Desktop that don't let you umount an USB pen
or a floppy is a mistake.
