Actually, now that I read the website, it seems ubuntu means "huamnity
to others". Unto others seems very forceful... :)

"humanity unto others" not 'for' others! (you see, you're getting into
this 'us' and 'them' thinking that is clouding your vision)
'ubuntu' is much the same as 'love your neighbour as you love yourself'
or 'do unto others as you'll have them do unto you'.
