Thanks Chris and Andreas! I upgraded my laptop from Warty (with KDE
from Sid) to Hoary today, and kubuntu is running well.
Now that our apt-proxy cache is primed with packages from
hoary/universe, I can do more testing. Personally, I'd like to have a
meta-package that mirrors the GNOME install, but with KDE base and
apps. A kubuntu-human theme would be nice, too.
I really love the GNOME Ubuntu, but couldn't work very well with it on
my Inspiron 3800 -- it's limited to 800x600 resolution (blech!). KDE's
window manager is a little more flexible allowing me to move/resize
windows that just didn't fit on screen. Anyway, it's great to have the
choice. Thanks again,
-Liz
