1. It was not available via apt-get from the repositories.
2. I am not familar with it yet - but all I have seen so far looked very 
promissing.
Pls. let me know, if and how you manage to install it on top of a 
minimal(Custom) Ubuntu. I will be happy to include this into the HOWTO.
